On April 18, 2017, the Casimir Pulaski Museum joined the “Take the train to Culture” („Koleja do kultury”) program, organized by Mazovian Railways LTD. („Koleje Mazowieckie – KM” sp. z o.o.) The program, which started in January of this year, encourages passengers to combine a train trip with a visit to one of the partner institutions.
Relevant contracts were signed at the Mazovian Province Marshal Office. Province Marshal Adam Struzik and Mazovian Railways Board Member Dariusz Grajda were both present during the festive ceremony.
The idea behind the program is to promote joined trips by offering discounts to each of the 25 cultural institutions participating in the program upon presentation of Mazovian Railways ticket. The Casimir Pulaski Museum offer allows passengers to purchase a discounted ticket (PLN 7) instead of a regular one. Those entitled to discounted tickets will have the right to purchase them at a special price of PLN 5. The discounted tickets can be purchased within 30 days from ticket expiration date.
To be eligible for discounts, please produce:
• a Mazovian Railways train ticket, purchased before the program deadline,
• a Mazovian card (Karta Mazowiecka) with receipt which proves the recharge,
• a SkyCash proof of purchase of a Mazovian Railways train ticket.
The partner institutions honor almost all ticket types: single, season, and on sale, as well as tickets involving the “Dragon” and “Slon
eczny” (Sunny) trains. The only tickets not covered by the program are those issued under the City Transportation Office (Zarzad Transportu Miejskiego) in cooperation with the Warsaw Commuter Railway (Warszawska Kolej Dojazdowa sp. z o.o.) within a special joint offer called “ZTM-KM-WKD JOINT TICKET” (Wspolny bilet ZTM-KM-WKD).
